About the event

On Sunday, July 26, Mziuri’s open-air cinema will host a screening dedicated to director Vik Lee.

In a city overheated by the sun, the theft of a car brings together complete strangers. Small acts of cruelty and indifference pass from one person to another, gradually leading to consequences no one could have imagined.

About the Film:

Through a chain of seemingly ordinary events, the film explores how evil can spread from person to person like a disease, and how indifference toward others allows it to grow.

About the Director:

Vik Lee is an independent filmmaker based in Israel. Before entering the world of cinema, he worked as an actor, musician, and screenwriter. Several years ago, he made his first independent short film. Small Acts is his third and most recent short fiction film.

Admission is free.

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Mziuri’s film screenings are held with the support of TBC.

The project aims to:

  1. Discuss relevant social issues with audiences of different generations through cinema.
  2. Involve young Georgian directors and encourage direct dialogue with audiences.
  3. Promote contemporary Georgian auteur cinema and screen significant films from recent years.
