Starting November 7, Palitra L Publishing House and renowned Georgian children's author Vaso Guleuri invite young readers to a series of weekly literary gatherings!
During these meetings, children will explore works by contemporary and classic Georgian and international authors, discussing their stories and the interesting, important themes they address.
In addition to engaging discussions, young participants can look forward to fun, creative workshops and special meetings with Georgian authors.
Topic of the First Meeting:
The first meeting will be dedicated to the book “The Extraordinary Story of Lenny Brown.”
Lenny Brown is an eight-year-old boy who, following a traumatic experience, struggles to communicate with others. He speaks only to his mother and his beloved dog, Rocky.
When Lenny has to transfer to a new school, his fears grow even stronger. Will he make friends? How will he adjust to his new surroundings? Will his classmates accept him for who he is, despite his differences?
One day, Lenny discovers an entirely new way to express himself and surprises everyone around him. His classmates and teachers finally realize just how extraordinary he truly is.
Each participant will receive a complimentary copy of the book discussed during the meeting!
